Two days before the departure we went together, which tradition following, to eat. This promotes the vacation feeling.
The travel into the high north
of Germany ran well and the weather was good.
It was necessarily to do a small detour over Frankfurt to fetch my parents . They accompany us on this journey.
In the late afternoon we reached our vacation homes in Hattstedt. On a small round by the town we got a first overview. Too many more we didn't not enough time.
The pottery on Nordstrand is with each travel into
the north a goal for us. Somebody our acquaintance has always an order to pik up there.
In the visitor information in Husum we have gotten to know which for the moment are offered.
The travel with Intercity (train), bus and ship
to and over the island Sylt we wanted to make in any case. Backwards we drove with the "Adler Schiffen" (eagle ships) by the "Wattenmeer" to the peninsula Nordstrand. It is a very interesting daily route with much information and a quantity of Seemannsgarn (fish story).
The strange figures in
Westerland, which are to represent the constant wind in the region, could inspire me not yet. This sharp green does not fit here. Well, it cost a lot of money.
The following bus travel was informative.
Very gladly taken „the sea-cows “; you should have seen it!.
The travel with the ship it was a little bit my taste , whereby it began to rain and you could not be no more in the tail of the ship, without to be become wet.
On a further trip we visited the
Hamburg Hallig. For our own comfort we used my bus for this 4.5 km long trail. A good possibility, for small money and if you are bad on foot, to be visited this beautiful spot .
On evenings in Husum we had good weather,
so that we decided to see the sunset by the Badestelle Husum, far outside the city in the Wattenmeer.
There is also here a small parking lot beside the camping site and the hotel.
On our last day we travel to the dam to Lüttmorsiel, where are rails and a footpath to the Hallig.
The way is accessible however only at ebb-tide.
The tracks also usable while high tide traveled by trolleys and a small train. The travel on the same is not possible for tourists.
A further goal was the island Römö in Denmark.
